Piano and Strings are welcome to compete in 2026-2027 Season
Each year, BMC recognizes outstanding student musicians through its Young Musicians’ Competition. Cash awards are made to those who, as deemed by professional judges, rise above all of the other competitors. BMC welcomes any student musician who meets the competition eligibility requirements to apply to the BMC Young Musicians’ Competition.
The 2026-2027 Season is now open for applications. See eligibility rules and associated application below. Applications will be accepted until October 10, 2026.

Eligibility Information
2026-2027 Student Competition
Instruments: Piano and Strings
Competition: May 1, 2027 (for piano) and May 2, 2027 (for strings)
Procedure: Submit Application documents by mail. Submit picture, competition video, and bio information online.
